Heston Cards was founded in March of 2024 by Benjamin Heston. All his life, Ben wondered why every greeting card had the MSRP and UPC barcode next to fine legal print on the backside. It was time to make something better.
The mission of Heston Cards is to enrich lives by creating moments that touch hearts. On the backside of every single card printed is the company’s logo: a striking design that features an old motif of hands holding a glass heart, inside of a Kepler triangle, with the glass heart perfectly centered on the page.
Heston Cards uses state-of-the-art image generators commonly used by the broader graphic design industry. While most of these images are complete and usable, final designs require hands-on editing using professional software. These tools significantly reduce the time necessary for one person to design a meaningful card. It is the company’s belief that using AI-generated images in greeting card designs can be done tastefully and respectfully, without getting in the way of sentiment.
